Technology was something I was always passionate about during university even when it wasn’t something I was looking to build a career in.

Don’t keep turning up to a job that you’re not enjoying because it will reflect in the quality of your work and impact your personal life.

My favourite part of my experience so far is being able to work closely with EY clients to help build resilience into their increasingly large and complex IT systems, applications and infrastructures.

I enjoy working with people who have a “give-it-a-go” and “can-do” attitude. These people are really team players and will learn quickly in a job like mine at EY.

One reason I find my job fulfilling is the ability to identify issues/risks and recommend actions to the management of ways to resolve them

I’ve had such a wide range of experience in Assurance, working with many clients spanning across the retail, technology and energy sectors.

Within my first few weeks of work I was presenting to the CFO and COO of a $1.2 billion global entertainment company involved with some of my favourite movies.

I never thought I’d be working on justice issues and engaging with such a wide range of highly experienced and talented stakeholders. I’ve learned so much!

As a graduate at EY, I’ve had more exposure to exciting engagements than I could ever have dreamed of.

Being in charge, I had to really challenge myself. It was hard to find my way through the legislation, but I knew my manager was there to help if I needed it.
